The mission of The Cowgirl Diaries is to connect, inspire and kick our collective butts into action to create the best possible version of ourselves living our best possible lives. To that end, I have been contemplating this little cowgirl coffee klatsch project for nearly two years! Recently, I’ve had to kick my own butt into action and welcome you all to a little project I’ve affectionately dubbed, “Cowgirls Over Coffee.”
I started off with a little imperfect action, hosting a live chat on both Instagram and Facebook in early March, and am now ready to get down to the nitty gritty with you all beginning in April!
Cowgirls Over Coffee is a first of its kind live broadcast aimed at encouraging fun and meaningful dialogue among women living the western, ranching, farming, rodeo lifestyle. The purpose being to combat feelings of FOMO, comparison and isolation, though (1) facilitating meaningful relationships between women (both online and in person), and (2) taking intentional ACTION to tackle ALL sorts of objectives, and ultimately have everything you want in life exactly how you want it.
We simply no longer have permission to sit behind our screens and feel inadequate or insecure because it’s impossible to scroll through social media feeds and start to feel bad about your life when you’ve genuinely connected with those ladies filling your feed with beautifully captured moments, AND you’re equally busy working on your own Pinterest-worthy hair, home, business, health, etc.
I’m a big believer in the power of TAKING ACTION.
I’ll be hosting Cowgirls Over Coffee live on Instagram every other week beginning this Thursday, April 5th at 8amPST/11amEST. Each chat will feature two or three expert panelist on topics from fake lashes to finding faith because a full life is a multi-faceted mix of developing the best of yourself. Together we’ll get to really know the women of western lifestyle, learn from one another, cheer each other on, and with any luck kick that comparison complex to the curb.
I’d love to know any topics you’d be interested in covering, ladies you’d love to get to know better, or any other ideas you might have to make Cowgirls Over Coffee a truly powerful community experience. Drop me a comment, send me a message on Instagram, shoot me an email … whatever your preferred method of communication, I’d love to hear from you!
A special thanks to my incredibly sweet and talented friend, Lyndsey of Lyndsey Garber Photography for capturing some lovely photos of my first Cowgirls Over Coffee event.
